At 10:00 a.m. on July 31, the company held a symposium to celebrate the 90th anniversary of the People's Liberation Army (PLA) in the conference room of the supply and marketing building. The general secretary and general manager of the company, Dong Guoliang, attended the symposium. Nearly 20 soldiers from all Party branches of the company gathered together to recall their military career and share their feelings about working in the company.

At the symposium, Mr. Dong expressed his festive greetings to all the returned soldiers and thanked those who had contributed to the development of the company.

General Dong fully affirmed the role played by veterans in their respective posts. At the same time, he hoped that veterans would keep in mind the entrustment of the Party and the people, continue to carry forward the fine traditions of the People's Army, always maintain their true colors, study diligently and strengthen their abilities, and make greater contributions to society and enterprises in their respective posts.
Representatives of all Party branches who have returned servicemen have spoken freely and exchanged their opinions. They have said that they will continue to carry forward the spirit of servicemen who are particularly capable of enduring hardships and fighting, as well as the work style of unity, cooperation and strict discipline, and make due contributions to the development of the company.
